El Monasterio Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the El Monasterio app ("the app") processes, why, who it is shared with, and your rights. We only collect what the app needs to work.
1. Controller
DISCURSIA, a French limited liability company (SARL), SIREN 102 631 454, registered office at 58 rue de Monceau, CS 48756, 75008 Paris, France. Contact: contacto@elmonasterio.org.
2. Data we process
Account: user ID; if you create an account, your email and name, or the data Apple or Google share when you sign in with them. You can also use the app as a guest, without an email.
Your choices in the app: name or nickname, age range, topics, element, daily minutes and reminder time.
Your practice: path progress, streak (flame), badges, stones, unlocked content, mood check-ins and your journal entries.
Purchases: your Plus subscription status (type, dates, free trial). We never see or store payment details: Apple and Google handle them.
Advertising (only without Plus, when you choose to watch a video to earn stones): your device's advertising ID, if you allow it, and technical ad data.
Technical data: device model, OS and app version, and performance measurements (load times), with no personal content.
Mood check-ins and journal entries may reflect how you feel. They are only used to show them back to you (your history, your trends) and are never used for advertising.

4. Who we share it with
Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google Ireland): authentication, database and performance monitoring.
RevenueCat, Inc.: subscription management.
Google AdMob: rewarded videos, only for users without Plus.
Apple and Google: sign-in, if you choose it, and in-app payments.
We do not sell your data. These providers act on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. Some may process data outside your country (for example in the United States), with the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. Advertising and consent
The app never shows ads unless you ask: only when you choose to watch a video to earn stones. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before using data for personalized ads, and you can change your choice in Settings. On iPhone, the system asks whether you allow tracking; if you don't, ads do not use your advertising ID. Plus has no ads.
6. Retention
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, we erase your progress, journal and account data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (for example, purchase records).
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, object to, restrict and port your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account and all your data from Settings › Delete my account («Eliminar mi cuenta»), or write to contacto@elmonasterio.org. You may also complain to a data protection authority: the CNIL in France (where the company is established) or the authority of your country.
